About Daniel Chinchilla Ochoa

 

Daniel is currently owner of Design4Motion, a Design Studio that creates custom design products for his customers; he fabricates the products using Carbon Fiber, Fiber Glass Reinforced Plastic and 3d Printing. He is also a Teacher of the Master Class in Automotive Design in the ANAHUAC University.

 

In 2009 he finished a Master in Transport Design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design Milano in association with Lamborghini. Skilled at using 3D tools -Alias Studio Tools- and hands-on modeling and fabrication, passionate about automotive and truck design, and available for employment immediately. He is 37 years old, married and enthusiastic to live and support design activities.

 

All the Lamborghini projects were done under the supervision of Filipo Perini, head of the Centro Stile and Alessandro Salvagnin,  designer. All the projects were developed from the sketch to the Alias model. The final renderings were done using Bunkspeed Hypershot and Autodesk Showcase 2008.

 

Daniel  worked as a designer at Airdesign S.A. de C.V. since september 2007. He developed OEM accessories for GM, VW, Ford, Seat, Peugeot and Hella. He is used to follow the complete design process, from the sketch to the final design ready to paint and install on the car.

 

Daniel was one of three designers at Hunpel, plus his manager who is also a designer. During 2006 and 2007, they provided three bus designs to their client Operbus (formerly known as Catosa), one of the three largest coach and bus producers in Mexico. He was graduated with honors in the Centro de Investigaciones de Diseño Industrial – UNAM.  He won the Gabino Barreda medal of the Industrial Design mayor in 2007.
